Numerous workshops were conducted for teachers in both urban and rural areas. Since Technopoiesis is an approach to teaching-learning and does not seek to change the ‘content’, we could conduct workshops in SSC, ICSE, IGCSE and CBSE schools. Third party assessment by ‘Social Lens’ validated the effectiveness of Technopoiesis in Wada, Palghar, Vikramghad and other rural areas.
Redesigning Education – 5 Steps to Becoming Enablers for Change by Dr. Coomi S. Vevaina which is an outcome of the earlier GTPS Summits, is ready for publication in October 2023.
About the Book
The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the United Nations highlight the pressing need for a shift in education to address global challenges like AI and promote sustainable development. This book proposes a comprehensive approach to transforming education, aligning it with scientific research, educational principles, and global initiatives such as UNESCO’s Four Pillars of Learning and the 17 SDGs.
Rather than overwhelming educators, the book seeks to integrate existing best practices into a cohesive and thoughtfully-designed “learning ecosystem.” It introduces the concept of “Technopoiesis,” which combines various approaches like art-based, nature-based, thinking-based, play-based, and experiential learning, along with social and emotional learning and global citizenship education.
By adopting an interdisciplinary perspective, Technopoiesis aims to break free from disciplinary silos and emphasises the interconnectedness of human existence with the planet. The book aims to inspire collaborative efforts among educators to create a transformative learning environment that aims at the development of head, heart and hand to make our beautiful planet a better place for ourselves and for the generations to come.
Amplified Living – 21 Days of Inner Work for a Conscious, Joyful Life by Dr. Coomi S. Vevaina which is an outcome of the earlier GTPS Summits, is ready for publication in October 2023
About the Book
This book is a labour of love and encapsulates the experiential knowledge and wisdom I have acquired so far. It is for any reader, anywhere and of any age, as long as the reader is interested in personal growth. It seeks to answer some essential questions such as, ‘’Why do some individuals possess very little in life yet remain peaceful and content while others are ‘successful’ in worldly ways, with well-paying jobs, beautiful homes, ideal partners, cars, financial stability and frequent holidays, still experience deep disturbance and discontentment?’’ Moreover, ‘’why are we constantly being told that by 2030, more people will suffer from chronic depression than any other disease?’’ ‘’What measures can we take to prevent this ‘pandemic’? ‘’
